Unique opportunities

A few folks felt that their efforts would be better focused on open doors they already have outside their neighborhoods. Please pray for:
Diana: giving them to coworkers at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Judy: to clients at the Pregnancy Care Center.
Julie & Leslie: to families of children on the route of their church bus ministry.

On Saturday March 15th, 11 adults and children rode the bus to visit all of the families who have given permission for their children to come to CCC on our bus. We wanted every family to know the story of Jesus. Miss Leslie our coordinator for bus ministry said, “My excitement came with the help our friends gave us by going to share God's love. It is so fun doing His work.”

Our hearts were burdened to reach more than these precious children and their families and God opened the door by providing an event at the community center. At one stop, a little girl walking along the road hopped on the bus, thinking it was Sunday, we all had a good laugh with her about her excitement to join us. Her Mommy was excited to see us and we shared our gift with them and explained we would return the following week to answer questions they may have written on the flyer we included in the bag. As we continued along the route, we saw them go to the community center and noticed the eggs around the yard. After praying, the group headed to the community center where we spoke with the Mom we had greeted on the road with her children and she was willing to introduce us to some of the friends who had come for the Easter Egg hunt. Names and addresses were exchanged, and prayers of thankfulness went heavenward.

On Saturday March 21st three joyful hours were given by 5 adults and children as follow-up visits were made to the homes. The children who had watched the movie, had viewed it more than once, yeah! One little girl mentioned that there was a word that she didn’t understand, but the paper she had tried to write it on had a drink get spilled on it and she couldn’t remember it…

Our prayers were answered in that every child/family who received the movie was happy and excited to receive the gift. Those who had watched it were excited and wanted to watch it over and over to understand and learn more about Jesus. Those who hadn’t watched it had plans to do so with our encouragement. Conversations at the doors of each home were blessed and we were able to share with each person where our hope comes from. Eight more children are riding the bus to come to CCC to learn how to love, follow, and obey Jesus
